Painter, born in Sydney. Frost lives and works on the South Coast, NSW. Frost studied a Diploma of Fine Arts in 1992 and in 2003 completed the bridging course to graduate with a Bachelor of Arts (Fine Arts), both at the National Art School. In 2003 Frost commenced a Doctorate of Philosophy in Visual Arts at the University of Wollongong. Frost regularly exhibits in both Sydney and New York. His oil paintings and mixed media on paper works depict urban and cityscapes, most notably King Street Newtown in Sydney and Broadway in New York. In 2004 Frost received an artist-in-residence aboard the MV Orlova which sailed to Antarctica. In 2003 he won the Kings School Acquisitive Art Award as well as receiving an Australian Post-Graduate Award Scholarship. Frost has also received numerous grants from the Ministry for the Arts and has worked on many community arts projects, including Warilla Federation Local History Public Art Project and Heritage Walk Shellharbour.
